They have the powerful computer you didn't have to buy, and they have the storage space you didn't have to own. So this means that things like memory and CPU speed are just not something you really need to focus on. However, there will always be plenty of computer users who cannot rely on having an internet connection or who do not want their private or valuable data flinging itself across the globe.
